Why a dating service?
At the end of the day many of us just want to find someone that they can laugh and stay still with for awhile, more often that realization has not presented itself soon enough. We're more than a dating service, we are love gurus, passionate about finding you love.
What areas do we service?
Philadelphia, its surrounding Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware counties, South New Jersey and Delaware.
WHO IS A Client?
Our clients are single, proactive, professional or retired, love seeking heterosexual men or a member of the LGBTQ community who obtain and pay for our service. We work closely with our clients to find them dates with whom they'll have the greatest potential with romantically and in their life goals.
WHAT IS A FEE FOR A CLIENT?
Prices vary depending on the service you'd prefer. Either $1700 for 4 months of service or $500 billed per month. Paying upfront is a $300 savings.
Who is a member?
Member’s are prospective dates for our clients, who are seriously looking for love. All of our members are either WOMEN or of the LGBTQ community. All members have undergone a background check before going on a date.
Is there a fee for members?
Members are free to join, while there is a one time background check fee that must be paid before being approved to become an active member. The cost is $35. Currently members are free and we are picking up the costs of the background check fee.
are memberships ongoing?
No, Memberships are reviewed and renewed annually but will NOT be automatically renewed or billed, as relationship status, residence, and needs in a mate may change so you must manually renew.
Do we perform background checks?
Yes, we do. A criminal background check is conducted via a 3rd party for both members and clients.
who do we consider single?
We define single as being Divorced, Widowed, or Single. Please do not apply if you are separated from your spouse even if legally separated, as you do not qualify.
When would we meet?
We schedule meetings with Clients within 72 business hrs of joining Yookte. And we meet our Members during events we host, and/or only if they become a match for our Client.
Why do we have to meet in person, can a video do?
Meetings are essential. Our purpose is to get to know you, for you to know us, and to get a clear scope of your wants and needs. All clients must meet in person before they are eligible to go on any dates. It's a casual meeting that will take anywhere from 45 mins to an hr. We'll block off an hr for you and meet at a convenient location. Video chats for the initial meet will not be acceptable. **The pandemic has changed somethings! So we will make exceptions!
DO YOU SALE MY INFORMATION? (Privacy)
No, we do not and will not sale your personal information. Further we will not share your personal information to a 3rd party; unless you have been made aware of and specifically agreed to a service, for instance a background check is conducted by a third party though your information is not sold, it is being used for the purpose of a background check. Please read our privacy notice for further detail.
Are your services guaranteed?
No, while we make every effort to find you someone that you are compatible with, you may not find a match through our services. Because we are fully committed to your success if by the 4th month, you have not gone on at least 3 dates, we’ll extend our service for an additional month free of charge.
Am I entitled a refund?
You are entitled a refund only in the following scenarios:
If we cancel your plan for any reason that we deem fit, and you have NOT violated your contract in any way as described in our terms and conditions, you will be refunded on a prorated basis. This does not apply if you have asked for a cancellation greater than the allotted time provided below.
If by 8:00 PM EST on the following day after joining our services(for any reason), you have sent us an email indicating to "Please cancel your contract", that email will be honored and we'll fully refund your contract price within 48-72hrs. Processing times by your bank may vary. **Less a background check fee and/or a consultation fee, should either or both apply.
Do I need to set up an online profile?
No. There are no online profiles to be set up. Your profile is private and can only be viewed by Yookte staff.
Is there a certain age I should be?
We ask that our clients, and members be at least 24 years of age. As far as a max age limit... well there is no age limit that we have deemed love is no longer feasible!
What about Third parties?
We work with a variety of 3rd parties for the benefit of our clients and members. Proprietary information and email will not be shared unless you have been notified and specifically agreed to.
How are dates arranged?
Dates are blind. This means that a picture will not be shared between members and clients. Don't worry, we meet with you to understand your laws of attraction and match you to those we believe are a fit. We can arrange for your dates, the location and time so that the guessing and back and forth go out the door. You'll also receive a complete run down on your date, so that you'll be prepared to engage in conversation.
Why DO WE DO BLIND DATES?
Great question! Here’s the thing, not all of us are photogenic! Our awesome personalities and potential chemistry don’t necessarily jump off a photo the way we’d like to think. We also want to completely reverse the dating app culture. Let us be the lens and trust that we’ve got your back in finding your person.
Can i extend my contract?
We will extend your contract for 1 month if you do not find someone within your contract period at no cost and only if you have not gone on a minimum 4 dates. After this time period you may enter into a new contract.
How many dates should i expect?
Though we can not guarantee our clients how many qualified singles we'll be able to match you with, we estimate at least 1-2 dates per month. We will not seek to set you up with someone who we know is not a good match. We'll work diligently to find you quality matches and will continue until your contract has ended or we have found your match. In hindsight there is no limitation on how many dates you are set up on during your contract period.
how do contracts work?
All contracts will begin on the following Monday of signing unless that Monday is a holiday, then we would begin your contract on that Tuesday. If you sign on a Wednesday after 6pm and anytime thereafter during the week then your contract would begin the following Monday (a little over 1 week away). This allows time for us to put together a game plan and run your background check. Instead of setting you up right away with no game plan specific to you.
what is the term length of the contract?
Currently we offer 4 month plans only.
CAN I PLACE A HOLD ON MY ACCOUNT?
Absolutely, you have the option to place up to a 2 month hold on your contract, for any reason, at anytime. You may have found someone you are dating, you may have to take a vacation, whatever the reason. You can place a hold no more than 2 times, keeping in mind the 2 month hold accumulates. Example, if you place a hold for 1 months, you'll only have 1 month left for your second request. You will relinquish the offer for a free month extension if your hold extends longer than 2 weeks in total.
Why ARE YOUR SERVICE’S much cheaper thaN the Competition?
Great question! Glad you asked. Besides the fact that we are a new company, the main goal is to find someone that is awesome for you. We can do this by casting a broad net at a lower cost to prove our worth. Finding love is an investment, but it shouldn't break the bank, nor sacrifice client experience.
